After visiting Love INC twice and backing out on beginning LIFE Skills multiple times, I started the LIFE Skills program on August 2, 2020. I took many different classes in the program and learned so much that will go with me wherever life takes me. This experience has been an amazing journey, and I almost didn’t want to graduate because I wasn’t sure I could go on without all of my fellow LIFE Skills participants and the support and love that I felt each week. But I’ve come to realize that it may be someone else’s turn to get help.

I want to thank my LIFE Skills mentor, Ruth. She has laughed with me, cried with me, been my rock, and been my support through everything these last three years. Ruth has brought me closer to God. She taught me that I am enough; that I am a good person. She’s helped me build so much confidence in myself and my life choices. And, most of all, she helped me understand how and why to accept God into my life.

As I move on to the next chapter of my life, I’ll continue to let God light the way.

I went from an unhappy, scared, and unsupported person going through the court system, fighting for custody of my kids, to being the strongest I’ve ever been with goals and dreams and having faith in God. I never thought I’d be able to experience this. Thank you Love INC.
