When I first came to Love INC’s LIFE Skills Program in 2018, my life was falling apart. My family had survived a devastating house fire that took everything we owned, even our pets, and though I tried to stay strong, I felt lost and stuck in the same emotional and financial struggles. My marriage was crumbling, we were on the verge of losing our home, and I had all but lost hope. I had turned down the idea of joining LIFE Skills before, afraid of being judged or letting strangers into my problems. But when I finally walked through those doors, desperate for change, I found something I didn’t expect—grace, understanding, and a path toward healing.

Two years later, everything looks different. Through the love, encouragement, and wisdom I received from my mentor and friends at Love INC, I not only learned practical life skills but also rediscovered faith and purpose. I’ve grown closer to God, strengthened my marriage, and built a stable, loving home for our children. Most incredibly, I’ve stepped into my dream career as an Autism Behavioral Technician, something I never thought possible before. LIFE Skills didn’t just teach me how to manage my life; it helped me rebuild it. For that, I’ll forever be grateful.
