Friends on Wednesdays

Friends on Wednesdays is a great program for learning and making friends at First Presbyterian Church of Allegan. Please join our community and explore with us during weekly meetings (sometimes in the evening but most are 2-4pm). We take field trips in Allegan County to different locations and events. A snack and beverage are provided at the meetings. Free and fun!

Topics range from a Ukulele Workshop where ukuleles will be provided for everyone to join in and learn a song on this instrument, a trip to a lavender farm and picnic, a licensed wild animal rehabber visit, a hypnotist visit to explain how hypnotism works and help us understand it better, a field trip to Lady Hawk Nutrition in Saugatuck, Camp Kidwell Tree Festival, JikJac Annual Pow Wow, etc. In the past, we have had Abraham Lincoln here for a program on his life and days as president, the Allegan County Canine Division, a presentation on the history of steel drums and demonstration on playing them, a history of steel guitar and demonstration with two steel players and a guitar player.

Many interesting programs and learning opportunities. The group has formed a close knit community getting to know one another and supporting each other when they need it. Please consider being part of this group. We would love to have you and everyone is welcome.
