Poverty + The Church Introductory Study

How do you add people from poverty into your church family in a dignified way?

Join Love INC Allegan county for a 2-hour study on Ruby Payne and Bill Ehlig’s book, What Every Church Member Should Know about Poverty. Together, we will engage in discussion on how the mindset of those in poverty may differ strikingly from those of your congregation and how those from poverty can integrate into the church, rise above their past, and offer their gifts and skills in return. Participants are encouraged to purchase and read their new or used copy of the book (available on Amazon) in advance. Handouts will be given of the material at the study for those who are unable to purchase a copy.
